EPROM
You are here: The Debug Store > Emulators > EPROM
An EPROM Emulator is used in place of an EPROM memory in an embedded circuit. It is fabricated from static RAM devices to emulate an EPROM and allows code to be downloaded from a host PC into RAM and made available to the target as if it were stored in the EPROM.
Using an EPROM Emulator is a useful way of modifying parameters held in the emulator without the hassle of having to reprogram a real EPROM and plug it into the target circuit board. |
