GPIB to USB Host Adapters provide an connection from the host PC to a GPIB (IEEE488/HPIB) interface.

Traditionally USB to GPIB Host Adapters were fitted into a spare motherboard slot on the Host PC. Today the Host Adapter is connected to the PC USB port. This allows the Adapter to me moved between PCs easily.
