USB to I2C Host Adapters provide an connection from the host PC to an I2C interface, most commonly used for connection microcontrollers to peripheral controllers.

The I2C Host Adapter, when used with control software is used to exercise the I2C Bus and is a very useful testing tool during development and commissioning.
