Leap Electronic was established in 1980 and is located in Taipei, Taiwan. With great, experienced employees, Leap specialises in designing and manufacturing test equipment. The company has also been qualified by major semiconductor manufacturers including AMD, Altera, Atmel, Freescale, Hitachi, Holtek, Intel, ISSI, Microchip,MXIC, Motorola, XNP, Philips, SST, ST, Winbond, UMC etc.

Leap is known for producing instruments under it's own name. The Company currently offers four types of product lines: Programmers, Emulators, Device Testers and Protectors.
