B&W's photo/equipment case is unique in being genuinely waterproof in extreme conditions, even when submerged, making it an obvious choice if you want to be absolutely sure of keeping your gear dry. Of course the case is also ideal for portable electronic test equipment being used in the field.

* Buoyancy: maximum 13.0 kg load in salt water
* The hard case is made from ultra high impact ABS plastic and is easily strong enough to stand on, giving you an extra 35 cm height; it also makes an excellent seat!
* You can remove the hard case to save weight, or if you want to use it on location for sitting or standing on; the Reconfigurable Padder Divider set fits almost as neatly into the empty transport bag.
* The transport bag is made from ballistic nylon and has numerous useful pockets; it's "waterproof" so far as a clip and zip system can be, which means that it's water resistant in normal wet weather conditions.
* As well as the top handle and a traditional shoulder strap there's an integral backpack system to minimise the carrying effort, and to leave both hands free.
* The purge valve to allow for equalisation of air pressure, e.g. after flying. Without this you might not be able to open the lid.
