The Leap Electronic WICE-SPI unit is a low-cost programmer, designed to program SPI interfaced Flash memory devices either Stand-alone or in-circuit.
A range of adapters are available for connection to the target board.

USB Powered
The unit is powered via the USB connection and up to four units connected to the same PC are supported for small-scale production programming.

Flash EPROM Emulation
The WICE-SPI will also emulate an SPI device. When connected to the Flash device socket on the target board, the device can be emulated. This is a very useful feature for testing SPI Flash builds prior to committing to the final application.

Protection is also provided against accidental mis-insertion.
