6DOF IMU Click Board
IC/module: MAX21105 6-axis IMU
6DOF IMU click features a monolithic MAX21105 chip that comprises of 3-axis gyroscope implemented with a 3-axis accelerometer to provide a full 6 degree-of-freedom (DoF) motion tracking system. The six Degrees of Freedom this inertial measurement units includes are—Up, Down, Left, Right, Pitch, Roll, and Yaw.
3-Axis Gyroscope and 3-Axis Accelerometer
The 3-axis gyroscope is used for navigation and measurement of angular velocity even under harsh conditions. Designed for high performance, the gyroscope has a full-scale range of±250, ±500, ±1000, ±2000 dps. The 3-axis accelerometer measures non-gravitational acceleration, and has a programmable full scale range of±2g, ±4g, ±8g and ±16g. The 6DOF IMU click communicates with your target board through SPI, I2C and INT lines.
Platform Stabilization: Accurate and Stabilised Performance over Temperature
6DOF IMU click is a well-suited for designing platform stabilization systems as it is capable of working with a supply voltage as low as 1.71V. It exhibits long-term precision and reliability over a wide range of temperatures (-40°C to +85°C).
SMD JumpersThe SMD jumpers allow you to select between SPI or I2C communication interface, and to select I2C address 0 or 1 (in 1 position by default). 6DOF IMU click features three sets of jumpers: INT SEL to denote which of the two available interrupt lines will be used, COMM SEL to switch between SPI and I2C interfaces, and ADDR SEL to set the I2C address. Additional INT pin is also available.
