IC/Module: LSM9DS1 Inertial Module

LSM9DS1 is a compact inertia measurement module with 3 acceleration channels, 3 angular rate channels, and 3 magnetic field channels. LSM9DS1 module has a linear acceleration full scale of ±2g/±4g/±8/±16 g, a magnetic field full scale of ±4/±8/±12/±16 gauss and an angular rate of ±245/±500/±2000 dps. Featuring I2C serial bus interface, it supports standard and fast mode (100 kHz and 400 kHz).

Smart Power Management

The LSM9DS1 IC embedded in 9DOF click also supports smart power management. The 3D accelerometer, a 3D gyroscope and a 3D magnetometer sensor can be enabled or set in power-down mode separately for conserving energy.

SMD Jumpers

9DOF click uses multiple INT lines. The four zero-ohm INT SEL jumpers allow the user to specify which one to use. On the other hand, I2C ADDR jumpers enable user to specify the I2C address.
