CapSense Click Board
Introduce capacitive sensing elements to the design with CapSense Click Board™! This compact add-on board incorporates a CY8C201A0 capacitive controller and capacitive sensing elements. The CY8C201A0 capacitive sensing module works by taking human body capacitance as an input and directly provides the real time sensor information. The capacitive sensing elements include: a 5-segment slider and two buttons, for touch interfacing. This capacitive sensing board also contains two LEDS inside each button for backlighting. The LED diode (Green) indicates the power supply status. CapSense Click Board™ is configured through an I2C port and communicates with the target board MCU through MikroBUS I2C (SDA, SCL), AN, and RST lines. IC/Module: CY8C201A0 Slider Capacitive Controller
CY8C201A0 IC is a capacitive sensing core with two buttons and a capacitive slider. It shows high immunity to RF and AC noise and features control registers with non-volatile storage. The standard I2C serial communication interface enables the host to configure the device and read sensor information in real-time.
CapSense Click can use either a 3.3V or 5V power supply, which can be selected through a zero-ohm J1 SMD jumper. It is in the 3.3V position by default.
