Starting a new project can be quite daunting. New processor, large than usual memory and new interfaces. Where do I start?
There may be a huge learning curve to start with which may hold you back.
The solution is to choose to use a development board. I don't mean the usual evaluation board, which gives the MCU somewhere to sit, but little else. A proper development board should include the option of trying out different MCUs, so you can find the one which suits your needs best. It should also be able to support many different types of interface device. For example, many new products need to have access to the Cloud or mobile network.
A development board should be seen as an investment; not a one off purchase for one project. To be an investment, it needs to be extendable to support new MCUs, new interfaces and include full software support for those.

The connect shield enables user to bring about connections between the mikroMedia™ board and any additional electronic equipment.The board comes with integrated high-quality screw terminals that allow easy interfacing each pin without soldering.
The connect shield board has a prototyping area that aid in employing additional components and develop the base functionality with custom features. The board features VCC and GND lines on the sides of the prototyping area. This mikroMedia™ shield is offered with two 26-pin stacking headers. Highly convenient in prototype development, this board allows user to integrate the mikroMedia™ board as a final product.
MSP432 Click Board
The MSP432 Click Board™er is a compact development board with a MikroBUS socket with Click Board™ connectivity.
It carries the SimpleLink MSP432 - ARM.
Intended to aid easy and fast prototype development, the SmartPROTO Board can be used to place additional components onto prototyping area and quickly assemble custom accessory board for a wide range of development systems from MikroElektronika. For this, this add-on board comes with female IDC10 connector and two prototyping areas. The first prototyping area includes eight lines with five prototyping pads, wherein each pad is connected to one IDC10 pin (D0-D7). The other prototyping area has 15 double lines each with five pads.
This add-on board also has additional power lines for the components. On the outer edges of the board, it features a line for GND and a line of pads for VCC. The SmartPROTO Board is also designed to be compatible with the port expansion headers on MikroElektronika
