The Angle click Board™ is a precise Hall-effect angle sensing click board that can be used to measure the rotational angle of the magnetic field in the X-Y plane above it (parallel to the surface of the click), through the whole range of 360°. The click yields very precise results for both off-axis and axis operation, which make it a perfect choice for precise measuring of the rotational angle in a wide range of different high-speed applications, for example in the automotive industry: electronic power steering, transmission, torsion bar, or the motor shaft rotation.
Angle click features the A1335 Hall-effect angle sensing IC, made by Allegro MicroSystems LLC. This IC measures the magnetic field angular vector, based on the actual physical reading of the integrated Hall-effect sensor, as well as the user selected parameters, such as the digital filtering, dynamic range and scaling. The integrated 32bit MCU ensures that the processed data is delivered with a minimal delay and it has enough power to provide the complex processing of the input values so that the measurement remains fast, precise and linear.
The Hall Current 5 Click Board™ is a very accurate electric current measurement Click Board™ based on the ACS733 IC. This IC is a galvanically isolated current sensor, which utilizes the Hall-effect principle. Its most distinctive feature is its very low series resistance of only 1 mΩ, which makes this device a nearly-perfect ammeter. The maximum current which can be measured with Hall current 5 Click Board™ ranges from -20 A to +20 A, with the optimised precision. By using the latest manufacturing technologies, the ACS733 can be used on very high frequencies, making it a perfect solution for a wide range of applications.
The Hall Current 6 Click Board™ is a very accurate current measurement Click Board™, based on the ACS723 IC. This IC is a galvanically isolated current sensor, which utilises the Hall-effect principle. Its most distinctive feature is its very low series resistance of only 0.65 mΩ, which makes this device a nearly-perfect ammeter. The maximum current which can be measured with Hall Current 6 Click Board™ ranges from -5 A to +5 A, with the optimised precision. It features a dedicated bandwidth selection pin, which allows better noise performance for a specific application.
The Hall Current 7 Click Board™ is a compact add-on board that provides economical and precise solutions for AC or DC current sensing. This board features the ACS770, a thermally enhanced, fully integrated, Hall effect-based high precision linear current sensor with 100µΩ current conductor from Allegro MicroSystems. Applied current flows directly into the integrated conductor generating a magnetic field, and an integrated low-hysteresis core concentrates the magnetic field sensed by the Hall element with a typical accuracy of ±1% and 120 kHz bandwidth. This Click board™ is suitable for applications like motor control, load detection and management, DC-to-DC converter control, and similar applications that require accurate and reliable current sensing.
Hall Current 7 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
