The Air Quality 3 Click Board™ is the air quality measurement device, which is able to output both equivalent CO2 levels and total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) concentration in the indoor environment. The Click Board™ is equipped with the state-of-the-art air quality sensor IC, which has an integrated MCU and a specially designed metal oxide (MOX) gas sensor microplate, allowing for high reliability, fast cycle times and a significant reduction in the power consumption, compared to other MOX sensor-based devices. The Click Board™ is also equipped with a temperature compensating element, which allows for increased measurement accuracy.
The Color 6 Click Board™ is a very accurate colour sensing board which features the AS73211, an XYZ true colour sensor from ams. This company has developed a proprietary JENcolour filter technology, which ensures compliance to the CIE 1931/DIN 5033 standard (human eye response), providing an accurate XYZ colour space response. The low noise 24-bit ADCs ensure the highest dynamic range available on market, with the irradiance responsiveness per countdown to 0.0005 pW/cm². This sensor offers a fast I2C interface for the communication with the host MCU.
The Light mix-sens Click Board™ is carrying TMD37253, an advanced proximity measurement, colour sense (RGBC+IR), and digital ambient light sensing (ALS) device. The TMD37253 slim module package has been designed to accommodate a “single hole” aperture approach that incorporates an IR LED and factory calibrated LED driver.
The proximity detection feature provides object detection (e.g., mobile device screen to the user’s ear) by photo-diode detection of reflected IR energy (sourced by the integrated LED). The ALS detection feature provides photopic light intensity data. The colour photo-diodes have UV and IR blocking filters and a dedicated data converters producing 16-bit data. This architecture allows applications to accurately measure ambient light which enables devices to calculate illuminance and colour temperature to control display backlight and chromaticity.
The Magneto 8 Click Board™ is a compact add-on board that contains an easy-to-program magnetic rotary position sensor with incremental quadrature (A/B) and 12-bit digital outputs. This board features the AS5601, 12-bit programmable contactless encoder IC from AMS-AG. This Click board™ is based on a planar Hall sensor technology, supports industry-standard I2C interface, and it measures the orthogonal component of the flux density (Bz) from an external magnet. It also provides a smart low-power mode which automatically reduces power consumption. Magneto 8 Click has many features that make it attractive for various applications such as angular position measurement solutions, encoder replacement, contactless magnetic position sensors, and more.
Magneto 8 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
The Spectrometer Click Board™ Board™ features an 11-channel spectrometer for spectral identification and colour matching applications. The spectral response is defined in the wavelengths from approximately 350nm to 1000nm. Control and Spectral data access are implemented through a serial I²C interface with very a low power consumption. 6 channels can be processed in parallel by independent ADCs while the other channels are accessible via a multiplexer. 8 optical channels cover the visible spectrum, one channel can be used to measure near infrared light and one channel is a photodiode without filter (“clear”).
This Click Board™ also integrates a dedicated channel to detect 50Hz or 60Hz ambient light flicker. The flicker detection engine can also buffer data for calculating other flicker frequencies externally. The NIR channel in combination with the other VIS channel may provide information of surrounding ambient light conditions (light source detection). Spectrometer Click Board™ can be used for spectral measurement, reflective object colour detection, colour measurement, and as ambient light flicker detection.
The Temp&Hum 6 Click Board™ is a smart temperature and humidity sensing Click Board™, packed with features that allow easy and simple integration into any design. It measures a wide range of temperature and relative humidity values with great accuracy. The ENS210 sensor IC used on this Click Board™ is an ultra-accurate temperature and relative humidity sensor (RH), featuring very low drift, very low power consumption, small hysteresis, and excellent long-term stability. Thanks to its advanced logic back-end, the sensor IC can offer measurement readings in Kelvin and %RH directly, over the I2C interface.
