The 3D Hall 6 Click Board™ is a very accurate, magnetic field sensing Click board™, used to measure the intensity of the magnetic field across three perpendicular axes. It is equipped with the MLX90380, a monolithic contactless sensor IC sensitive to the flux density applied orthogonally and parallel to the IC surface, from Melexis. This IC has a separate Hall sensing element on each axis, which allows a very accurate and reliable measurement of the magnetic field intensity in a 3D space, offering a basis for accurate positional calculations. The 3D Hall 6 click supports the industry-standard SPI communication protocol for communicating with the main MCU.
3D Hall 6 click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
The Gaussmeter Click Board™ is a device that is used for measuring the magnetic field in X, Y and Z axes. This Click Board™ features the MLX90393, a micropower magnetometer based on the proprietary Triaxis' technology, from Melexis. It can detect the magnetic field down to 0.8 µT (8 mG) thanks to this technology. The integrated temperature sensor provides data for the thermal compensation, while the on-chip non-volatile memory can store the various working and compensation parameters, so they can be reused after the Power ON reset cycle (POR). The Click Board™ supports both I2C and SPI communication protocols, allowing it to be interfaced with the wide range of different MCUs.
The Hall Current 3 Click Board™ is a very accurate current measurement Click Board™, which utilises the Hall effect to provide a precise and reliable measurement of reasonably high current. Its most distinctive feature is a very low series resistance of only 0.7mohm, making this device a nearly-perfect ammeter. The maximum current which can be measured by the MLX91210 integrated Hall sensor IC goes up to ±30A, but in respect to the nominal current measurement rating of the sensor, the current measurement is limited to about ±10A. The measurement is thermally compensated and conditioned by the high-speed integrated analog front-end sections of the Hall sensor IC. The current measurement value can be obtained from the on board 12-bit A/D converter, via the I2C interface.
The IR Grid 3 Click Board™ is a thermal imaging sensor. It has an array of 768 very sensitive, factory calibrated IR elements (pixels), arranged in 32 rows of 24 pixels, each measuring an object temperature up to 300&Deg;C within its local Field of View (FOV). The MLX90640-BAA IR sensor used on this Click Board™ has only four pins, and it is mounted inside of the industry standard TO39 package. The Click Board™ comes as a fully tested and approved prototype, making it a reliable device ready to use on the development board. The full package also includes the mikroSDK software and a library with all the functions.
The Click Board™ is suitable for a wide range of applications, including thermal scanners, precise contactless thermal measurement, thermal leaks in homes, industrial temperature control of moving parts, other types of heated object localization, human presence, and similar applications that require accurate contactless thermal measurement, or thermal imaging.
The IrThermo 3 Click Board™ is a device which allows contactless measurement of the object temperature. It uses highly advanced MLX90632 FIR sensor, which detects the average temperature of objects within its field of view (FOV), which is typically ±25°. It is factory calibrated, with the calibration constants stored in its internal EEPROM. Besides EEPROM used for storing trimming values, device settings, and calibration constants, it has additional RAM area that can be used for auxiliary measurement data storage. The integrated temperature sensor provides ambient temperature measurement, necessary for a proper calibration. The device is calibrated to sense objects with the temperature ranging from -20°C up to 200°C, and the ambient temperature ranging up to 80°C. The measurement resolution is 0.02°C. Measured data is available via the industry standard I2C communication bus.
