  • AN To PWM Click Board™

    The AN to PWM Click Board™ is a device that converts the value of the input analog signal with virtually any wave shape to a fixed frequency PWM voltage output, with a duty cycle proportional to the input voltage. It has a linear response, and by applying a signal with the voltage between -2.5V to +2.5V on its input, the Click Board™ will generate a pulse width modulated (PWM) output voltage, with duty cycle ranging from 0% to 100%. AN to PWM Click Board™ features very good linearity, covers a positive and negative input voltage range and it has good temperature stability. These features allow this device to be used in various voltage to frequency applications, such as AD conversion, inspection, test and measurement equipment, while it can also be used as the variable clock signal generator.

    The Analog MUX Click Board™switches one of the sixteen inputs to one output. It employs the CD74HC4067, a High-Speed CMOS Logic 16-Channel Analog Multiplexer/Demultiplexer, produced by Texas Instruments. It offers rail-to-rail operation, allowing the input signal to swing up (and down) to the voltage of the power supply, with no distortion. Features such as the low on-resistance and low input current leakage, fast and balanced propagation delay and transition times and break-before-make switching action make this circuit a perfect solution for various switching applications, analog and digital signals.

    The AudioAmp 4 Click Board™ is a low-power audio amplifier with a digital volume control. It is equipped with the LM4860, an audio amplifier IC capable of delivering up to 1W of continuous power to an 8Ω load. It has a very low total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 1% over the entire audio spectrum, which makes it perfectly suited for small boom-boxes, PC speakers, and similar low-power sound reinforcing devices that can be powered by batteries. A high integration level of the LM4860 IC allows an additional circuit for digital signal attenuation to be used, offering 8 different volume levels, selectable over 3 GPIO pins of the mikroBUS.

    The Driver Click Board™ features an IC with seven integrated high-current sink drivers, which can be used to drive a wide range of loads via simple parallel interface. These integrated drivers use high-efficiency MOSFETs for improved thermal performance. The DRV777 integrated motor and relay driver IC from Texas Instruments is the main active element of this Click Board™. It is ideally suited for driving motors, relays, and similar inductive loads, as it features an internal free-wheeling diode for inductive kickback protection, on every channel. It operates with voltages up to 20 V, and by combining all the channels, it can sink up to 1A of current.

    The EXPAND 5 Click Board™  features a low-voltage 24-bit I2C and SMBus I/O expander. This 24-bit I/O expander is designed to provide general-purpose remote I/O expansion for most microcontroller families via the I2C serial interface. This Click Board™ features the TCA6424A from Texas Instruments, and it operates over a power supply voltage range of 1.65V to 5.5V. Wide voltage range allows the TCA6424A to interface with next-generation microprocessors and microcontrollers on the SDA/SCL side, where supply levels are dropping down to conserve power.     The HZ to V 2 Click Board™ contains a device that can converts the input frequency of the signal with virtually any wave shape to a DC voltage output, with a level proportional to the input frequency. It features a specialised IC labelled as VFC32KU, which has a good linear response and temperature stability.   • I2C MUX 2 Click Board™

    The I2C MUX 2 Click Board™ is a quad bidirectional translating I2C and SMBus switch with reset and interrupt functions, intended for applications with I2C slave address conflicts. It features a quad bidirectional translating switch controlled via the I2C bus, labeled as TCA9545A from Texas Instruments. Four interrupt inputs (INT3–INT0), one for each of the downstream pairs, are provided on click board. One interrupt (INT) output acts as an AND of the four interrupt inputs. Click has two address jumpers, allowing up to four TCA9545A devices on the same bus. I2C MUX 2 click allows voltage translation between 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V buses, and also supports hot insertion. The TCA9546A can work on a 0 - 400 kHz clock frequency range and is ideal for communication with numerous devices that share the identical slave address on the same bus.
