Toshiba has over 40 years of experience in photocouplers, which have been used for a variety of applications, ranging from industrial equipment such as inverters and semiconductor test systems to home appliances and housing equipment such as air conditioners and photovoltaic power generation systems. Toshiba offers photocouplers that consist of a high-power infrared LED coupled with a photodetector fabricated using the latest process.

Certified to major international safety standards, these photocouplers provide high isolation voltage, as well as low power consumption, making them ideal for applications that require enhanced safety and environmental friendliness.

  • Brushless 7 Click Board™

The Brushless 7 Click Board™ is, as its name said, a motor driver based expansion board for controlling BLCD motors with any microcontroller. The board is based on TC78B009FTG IC from Toshiba, which is a three-phase BLDC motor controller that does not require Hall sensors.

Some of the main features are a built-in closed loop speed control function that regulates and maintains the motor rotational speed under dynamic power fluctuations and load variations. With precise setting of a speed profile done by the built-in nonvolatile memory (NVM) it eliminates the need for an external MCU for closed loop speed control and makes it perfect solution for applications that include high-speed fans used in servers, blowers, cordless vacuum cleaners, and robot vacuum cleaners.

  • DC Motor 7 Click Board™

The DC Motor 7 Click Board™ is a dual brushed DC motor driving Click Board™, featuring the advanced PWM chopper-type integrated DC motor driver, labelled as TB67H400AFTG. This IC can drive two brushed DC motors independently, using a wide range of supply voltages, while delivering reasonably high current to the connected DC motors. This is possible due to the low resistance of the integrated H-Bridges. In addition to being able to drive two independent DC motors, it can be used in a so-called large mode to drive a single motor, utilising both bridges in parallel. This effectively doubles the amount of current it can deliver to the DC motor.

  • Motion 2 Click Board™

The Motion 2 Click Board™ is based on the EKMC1607112, PIR motion sensor from Panasonic Corporation that's used as human motion detector. Also featured on Motion 2 Click bord is TLP241A photorelay from Toshiba that is used to provide a reinforced galvanic isolation for the external signals used to drive some external high power electronic equipment when motion is detected. It's allowing up to 40V between the SSR contacts in OFF state, and currents up to 2A while in ON state, thanks to a very low ON-state resistance.

Motion 2 Click board™ is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.

  • Motion 4 Click Board™

The Motion 4 Click Board™ is a long distance PaPIR's motion sensor with plastic lense and controllable output. This Click board features EKMC1603111, a PIR motion sensor from Panasonic Corporation which can be used as human motion detector and is able to detect movement up to 12m with 170uA current consumption. Also featured on Motion 4 Click bord is TLP241A photorelay from Toshiba that is used to provide a reinforced galvanic isolation for the external signals used to drive some external high power electronic equipment when motion is detected.
