    The Air quality 3 Click Board™ is the air quality measurement device, which is able to output both equivalent CO2 levels and total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) concentration in the indoor environment. The Click Board™ is equipped with the state-of-the-art air quality sensor IC, which has an integrated MCU and a specially designed metal oxide (MOX) gas sensor microplate, allowing for high reliability, fast cycle times and a significant reduction in the power consumption, compared to other MOX sensor-based devices. The Click Board™ is also equipped with a temperature compensating element, which allows for increased measurement accuracy.

    The Air Quality 4 Click Board™ is an advanced air quality sensing device that combines multiple metal-oxide sensing elements on a chip to provide detailed information of the air quality parameters. This Click Board™ can output a TVOC value readings as well as the CO2 equivalent concentration readings in an indoor environment. Besides these compensated attributes, the Click Board™ can also output raw values of H2 and Ethanol in the air, that can be used to calculate gas concentrations, relative to a reference concentration.

  • Air Quality 5 Click Board™

    The Air quality 5 Click Board™ is a triple MOS sensor on a single Click Board™, which can detect gas pollution for a number of different gases. The on-board sensor is specially designed to detect the pollution from automobile exhausts, as well as the gas pollution from the industrial or agricultural industry. This Click Board™ uses the MiCS-6814, a compact MOS sensor with three fully independent sensing elements in one package: RED sensor, OX sensor, and NH3 sensor. Each of these sensors reacts with the specific type of gases, providing gas readings that including carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ethanol (C2H5OH), hydrogen (H2), ammonia (NH3), methane (CH4), propane (C3H8), and isobutane (C4H10). Measurement conversion is handled by the on-board 12-bit ADC converter and it is available via the I2C interface.

    The Air Quality Click Board™ features MQ-135 gas sensor in its design for measuring the air quality in apartments, homes and offices. This add-on board helps the users in detecting poisonous gases like ammonia (NH3), nitrogen oxides (NOx), benzene, CO2, smoke and others that harm the air quality, and pollute it. Air quality Click Board™ is equipped with a calibration potentiometer and a power indicator LED. It also has got a MikroBUS host socket and two jumpers. The MQ-135 sensor features a gas sensing layer constructed of tin dioxide which is an inorganic compound with the formula SnO2. Tin dioxide is known to have lower conductivity in clean air.

    As the level of pollution increases in the air, the conductivity rises too. User can calibrate Air quality Click Board™ for the environment by adjusting the load resistance of the sensor circuit. As the concentration of the target air changes, the resistance of the sensor component also gets changed.

    The Alcohol 2 Click Board™ is a very accurate ethanol gas (alcohol) sensor Click Board™, equipped with the SPEC amperometric gas sensor which electrochemically reacts with the ethanol. It is supported by the LMP91000, a high-precision integrated analog front-end IC (AFE), perfectly suited for use in electrochemical sensing applications. The Click Board™ also provides the reference voltage required by the sensor and offers a choice between the analog output from the AFE IC buffered with the low noise op-amp, and digital output from the 12-bit SAR A/D converter.

  • Alcohol 3 Click Board™

    The Alcohol 3 Click Board™ is a gas sensor, equipped with the MiCS-5524, a compact metal oxide (MOS) sensor. This sensor reacts to the presence of deoxidizing and reducing gases, such as ethanol (also known as alcohol). Its impedance changes as a result of a catalytic reaction, allowing it to be used in a voltage divider configuration. This voltage can be sampled by an accurate A/D converter (ADC), allowing data to be read directly over the I2C interface. The MiCS-5524 sensor itself is a robust sensor, which can be used in harsh environment for gas leakage detection, in breath checking applications, early fire detection, etc.

  • Alcohol Click Board™

    Add a high-sensitivity alcohol gas sensor to your design with the addition of Alcohol Click Board™. The board incorporates a MQ-3 high-sensitivity alcohol sensor to detect alcohol concentration. Made of an inorganic compound called Tin dioxide (SnO2), the gas sensing layer on the MQ-3 sensor unit has lower conductivity in clean air. However, the sensitivity rises as the levels of alcohol gas rise.

    Alcohol Click Board™ features a small potentiometer for calibration that enables the user to set its own scale and adjust the load resistance of the sensor circuit. Using the AN (OUT) MikroBUS line, Alcohol Click Board™ communicates with the target board. This board is designed to use 5V power supply only.

    It offers very good sensitivity and fast response to alcohol gases, and is designed to detect presence of alcohol in concentrations from 0.04 to 4mg/l. It makes an ideal choice for portable alcohol detector and breathalysers for estimating BAC (blood alcohol content).

    The Ammonia Click Board™ is an Ammonia detection (NH3) sensor, based on the MQ-137 gas sensor. This gas sensor has a sensitive layer made of SnO2, which changes its resistance when exposed to ammonia. The sensor is able to sense NH3 concentration in the range of 5 ppm to 200 ppm. This Click board™ is also equipped with a trimmer potentiometer, used to adjust the sensitivity and offset of the MQ-137 sensor, making it well suited for the detection of ammonia, which may cause severe health disorders in the human body.

    The MQ-5 sensor features a gas sensing layer constructed of tin dioxide (SnO2) which is an inorganic compound. Since tin dioxide has lower conductivity in clean air, as the percentage of LPG increases in the environment the conductivity rises too. The potentiometer enables the user to adjust the load resistance of the sensor circuit so that LPG Click Board™ may be calibrated for the targeted surroundings.
