The MikroE CAN SPI 3.3V Click Board™ is known to be the best accessory board designed to add CAN (Controller Area Network) connectivity to the microcontroller with SPI interface. The 3.3V version is exclusively designed for serial communication on 3.3V microcontrollers. The communication board features a high-speed SN65HVD230 CAN transceiver that serves as the interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical bus. The CAN SPI 5V Click Board™ is a highly reliable communication board intended to add serial CAN connectivity to user microcontroller with SPI interface. The 5V version is exclusively designed for communication on 5V microcontrollers. The accessory Click Board™ features MCP2551, high-speed CAN transceiver that serves as the interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical bus. The CAN transceiver circuit provides a CAN serial communication physical layer in accordance with the ISO 11898 standard. The board has screw terminals to ensure easy and secure connectivity, power LED, and node termination jumper. It supports connection with up to 112 nodes. Designed to operate in especially-harsh environments, CAN SPI Click Board™ 5V provides cross-wire protection, loss-of-ground and over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, as well as wide common-mode range. It uses a 5V power supply only.

Introduce SPI serial communication using USB cable to the user design with the USB SPI Click Board™. This add-on board comes with MCP2210 USB-to-SPI protocol converter with GPIO as well as USB MINI B connector. The MCP2210 chip contains 256 bytes user EEPROM, 128-byte buffer to handle data, and 9 general purpose I/O pins. The 12 MHz crystal oscillator aboard USB SPI Click Board™ offers external clock waveform for MCP2210 IC. The board includes two LED diodes, wherein, the green LED diode denotes the presence of power supply and the other indicates the SPI traffic. Compact and easy to implement, USB SPI Click Board™ is designed to communicate with the target board microcontroller through Serial Peripheral communication interface as a master device. The board is designed to operate on 3.3V or 5V power supply, selectable by the SMD jumper.
