  • ADC Proto Board

    The ADC PROTO Board is used to convert analog voltage signals into digital voltage signals in 12-bit resolution. The board includes a MCP3204 12-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) that combines low power consumption and high performance into a small package. Featuring a successive approximation register (SAR) architecture, the MCP3204 module uses an industry-standard SPI serial interface to send the converted voltage signal to the host microcontroller. Furthermore, it features up to 100K samples per second and four single-ended input channels. The ADC PROTO Board is small in size and comes equipped with screw terminals to facilitate easy connections. It is designed to operate using a 5V power supply only. When using it with 3.3V systems, it is advisable to use voltage translators on communication lines.

    The ADC PROTO Board is an ideal choice for a variety of applications, which include instrumentation, industrial PCs, motor control, robotics, data acquisition, measurement, industrial automation, smart sensors, multi-channel data loggers, and so on.

  • CAN-1 Board

    The CAN-1 Board is an accessory board that allows user to add CAN (Controller Area Network) connectivity to the design. Developed with integrated CAN support, the board features a high-speed MCP2551 CAN transceiver that works as the interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical bus. It operates at speeds of up to 1 Mb/s and is suitable for 12V and 24V systems. The CAN-1 Board implements ISO-11898 standard physical layer requirements. It allows up to 112 nodes to be connected. The board can be connected into a development system via a female IDC10 connector. The DIP switch facilitates the user to choose which pins are used for RX/TX. The CAN-1 board is designed to operate using a 5V power supply only. When connecting to a 3.3V development system, careful use of voltage translators is advisable.

    The CANSPI is an easy to use, compact accessory board that allows user to connect a CAN (Controller Area Network) bus to any microcontroller with Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The board employs both an MCP2515 CAN controller and an MCP2551 CAN transceiver. The MCP2515 circuit used as a CAN controller allows for data exchange with microcontrollers using a standard SPI communication interface. On the other hand, the transceiver MCP2551 chip provides necessary signal adjustments and allows the signals to be sent/received at a 1 Mb/s.
