Grid-EYE Click Board

The Grid-EYE Click Board is a 8x8 thermal array sensor-detector that carries the AMG8853 infrared array sensor from Panasonic.

The click is designed to run on either 3.3V or 5V power supply. It communicates with the target MCU over I2C interface.
Use the Grid-EYE click to detect absolute surface temperature without any contact. Or use it to detect the movement of people and objects.

IR Beacon Click Board

The IR Beacon Click Board is a mikroBUS add-on board with an array of nine high speed infrared emitting diodes. It functions as a beacon device, transmitting infrared rays in a wide angle, which can be detected by nearby infrared receivers (such as the one on IR click). Each of the nine VSMB2948SL diodes have a transparent plastic package that serve as tiny lenses.

IR Distance Click Board

The IR Distance Click Board represents a sensor that incorporates GP2Y0A60SZ0F distance measuring sensor unit. The sensor module is composed of an integrated PSD (position sensitive detector), an infrared LED and a signal processing circuit, measuring between 10 and 150 cm. The sensor remains uninfluenced by the reflectivity of the object such as environmental temperature and the operating duration. IR Distance click board outputs an analog voltage corresponding to the distance of the object (through the MikroBUS AN pin). Since this device outputs the voltage corresponding to the detection distance, it can also be used as a proximity sensor. IR Distance click use a 3.3V or a 5V power supply.

With these features, IR Distance click can be used in applications like touch-less switches, various energy-saving devices, robots, and many more.

IR ECLIPSE Click Board

The IR Eclipse Click from MikroE is a popular accessory board incorporating an EE-SX198 photo interrupter sensor, which consists of an infrared transmitter and receiver facing each other, separated by a 3mm-wide slit. When an object, say a piece of paper, is placed in the slit, the beam of infrared that travels from the transmitter to receiver is eclipsed, which in return, activates the sensor. The activated sensor status is indicated by the on-board INT LED.

The application of an IR eclipse click board seen in everyday use would be a printer or copier machine, where the sensor detects whether the paper is in place. IR eclipse click would be an ideal choice for your design wherever there

IR Grid 2 Click Board

IR Grid 2 click is a thermal imaging sensor. It has an array of 768 very sensitive factory calibrated IR elements (pixels), arranged in 32 rows of 24 pixels. Each one of them is measuring an object temperature up to 300˚C within its local Field of View (FOV). The MLX90640 IR sensor used on this Click board™ has just four pins, and it is mounted inside of the industry standard TO39 package. It is equipped with 2Kbit of EEPROM for storing the compensation and calibration parameters. The MLX90640 IR sensor array IC has I2C compatible digital interface, allowing it to be interfaced with a wide range of different MCUs. The sensor used on this Click board™ offers a summed field of view of 55˚x32˚. The sensor can output up to 64 frames per second (FPS).

IR Grid 3 Click Board

IR Grid 3 click is a thermal imaging sensor. It has an array of 768 very sensitive, factory calibrated IR elements (pixels), arranged in 32 rows of 24 pixels, each measuring an object temperature up to 300˚C within its local Field of View (FOV). The MLX90640-BAA IR sensor used on this Click board™ has only four pins, and it is mounted inside of the industry standard TO39 package. The Click board™ comes as a fully tested and approved prototype, making it a reliable device ready to use on the development board. The full package also includes the mikroSDK™ software and a library with all the functions.

The click board™ is suitable for a wide range of applications, including thermal scanners, precise contactless thermal measurement, thermal leaks in homes, industrial temperature control of moving parts, other types of heated object localization, human presence, and similar applications that require accurate contactless thermal measurement, or thermal imaging.

IR Sense 2 Click Board

The IR Sense 2 Click Board is the infrared sensor Click board, designed to be used for the short range IR sensing applications. Unlike other pyroelectric sensors, it is able to sense environmental heat changes up to 1m, even through the glass. IR Sense 2 click is perfectly suited for human presence detection, so it can be used in many human presence detection applications. A programmable interrupt engine simplifies the software development and saves MCU cycles, that would be otherwise wasted on polling. The ability to sense IR through the glass allows an unconstrained design of the final product.

IrDA 3 Click Board

The IrDA 3 Click Board is an intelligent IR transceiver device that can both send and receive UART commands via the IR interface. IrDA 3 click features both the IR transceiver and the encoder/decoder IC, used to convert the UART data and send or receive it in IrDA? compatible format. IrDA 3 click also has an onboard clock generator for the fastest possible UART performance of 115,200 bps, so it does not need an additional clock signal to be generated by the MCU.
