Click Boards™ offer simple and inexpensive way to evaluate and incorporate interfaces into your microntroller-based system. Over 185 different models have been created so far and the list grows weekly.
Developed by MikroElektronika (mikroE), Click Boards™ connect to your microcontroller via the MikroBUS™. a powerful interface common to all models. MikroBUS™ is evolving into a standard within the embedded systems market and is being taken up by many other manufacturers.
Why Click Boards™?
They provide a standard way of adding evaluating new interface devices. MikroElektronika design and manufacture Click Boards™ for device manufacturers to offer a simple way of using their devices. They are compatible with all MikroE development boards, supporting a wide range of microcontroller types including ARM Cortex, AVR, PIC, PIC32, dsPIC, FT90x and 8051. MikroE models are also fully supported by MikroE complers and toolsets and example application code is created to enable you to start using your new Click Board™ straight away This can significantly reduce the learning curve normally associated with the introduction of new technology.
Incorporate MikroBUS™ into Your Own Design
There are many good reasons to want to offer extendability to your own board designs:

- Test the market for additional functionality at minimal outlay
Although mikroBUS™ is a trademark of mikroElektronika, they allow you to incorporate the bus layout into your design as long as the silkscreen is clearly labeled "mikroBUS™" and includes the mikroBUS™ logo.

Relay Click Board
The Relay Click Board is a compact and easy to implement add-on board offered to include RELAY functionality to your design. The board is equipped with two G6D1AASI-5DC power PCB relays that control different devices with up to 5A, 250V AC/30V DC loads. A relay is an electromagnetic switch operated by a relatively small electric current with complete electrical isolation between control and controlled circuits. RELAY click board also features two screw terminals that ensure seamless connection. It also has two onboard LED indicators that indicates the presence of power supply. RELAY click communicates with the target board microcontroller through mikroBUS PWM (RL1) and CS (RL2) pins.
It is an ideal choice for turning on/off lights, motors and other high power systems within the maximum supported voltage/current level range.
RF Meter Click Board
The RF Meter click board comes designed to let the user measure as well as keep a check on the radio frequency levels. This radio frequency power measurement device contains a 12-bit MCP3201 ADC and AD8318 demodulating logarithmic detector. It covers a wide radio frequency range, which varies from 1 MHz to 8 GHz, with an accuracy of ??1.0 dB over 60 dB range (approximately) below 6 GHz. The board has been provided with an external antenna by way of which, it catches the signal. This signal is then forwarded to the AD8318 logarithmic amplifier for processing. The voltage produced here gets fed to the fed into an MCP3201 ADC so that RF levels can be precisely determined. The antenna connector, which is being provided to the RF Meter click board, is a standard SMA type and it is compatible with the GSM antennas.
Since, the AD8318 has a much wider frequency response; the user can put this board to use in a huge variety of applications by choosing the compatible antenna option.
RFid Click Board
The RFid Click Board from mikroE offers an easy and compact solution to introduce RFid functionality to the design. This add-on board includes CR95HF, an integrated transceiver IC for contactless applications, as well as a PCB trace antenna. The CR95HF 13.56 MHz contactless transceiver can operate in reader/writer modes. It contains a dedicated internal frame controller and analog front end (AFE) for RF communications. RFid click communicates with the target board MCU through the mikroBUS UART (TX, RX), SPI (MISO, MOSI, SCK, CS) INT, RST, PWM and AN lines. The board supports a 3.3V power supply only. The power supply status is indicated by a green LED.
RFid click supports ISO/IEC 14443 type A and B, ISO/IEC 15693 (single or double subcarrier) and ISO/IEC 18092 communication protocols. It also supports the detection, reading and writing of NFC Forum Type 1, 2, 3 and 4 tags. RFid click board can be used with 13.56 MHz RFid tags or identification cards. It is a perfect option for tracking and security systems that need RFID support.

Rotary G Click Board
The Rotary G Click Board from mikroE features a 15-pulse incremental rotary encoder with detents, which is surrounded by a ring of 16 green LEDs. If the user wants to implement a precision input knob into the design, such a rotary click will be a perfect solution. Every single rotation is divided into 15 discrete steps. The encoder output has A and B signals (out of phase to each other). The knob also works as a push-button to send an interrupt to the target board MCU. The 16 LED ring is controlled via SPI communication interface.
Rotary G click can be used with either a 3.3V or 5V power supply. Such a click board would be useful in controlling audio/video equipment and other similar electrical devices.

RS-485 3.3V Click Board
The RS-485 3.3V Click Board is a compact accessory board designed to add bidirectional data communication to the design. The board features a Texas Instruments SN65HVD12 differential line transceiver that provides high-speed bidirectional data communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. Compliant with EIA standards RS-485 and RS-422, this 3.3V version of RS485 click is intended for balanced data transmission. RS485 click 3.3V board features four screw terminals. RS232 Click Board
Introduce RS-232 connectivity to any device with the RS-232 Click Board. RS232 is a serial communications standard, which is mostly used for industrial machines, networking equipment and scientific instruments, as well as a standard port for modems, handheld computer cradles, and many other PC peripheral devices.
RS232 click carries a standard RS232 DB9 port and a ST3232 (MAX3232) IC. The board also incorporates a mikroBUS host socket, SMD jumpers, and a power indicator LED. It uses the mikroBUS RX (RXD), TX (TXD), CS (RTS), and INT (CTS) lines to communicate with the target board. RS232 click supports the use of either a 3.3V or 5V power supply. It has two jumper positions to connect RTS (J2) and CTS (J3) lines to the target board.
RS485 5V Click Board
The RS-485 5V Click Board is a compact accessory board designed to add bidirectional data communication to the design. The board features a Texas Instruments ADM485 differential line transceiver that provides high-speed bidirectional data communication on multipoint bus transmission lines.
