mikroE Click Boards
Click Boards™ offer simple and inexpensive way to evaluate and incorporate interfaces into your microntroller-based system. Over 185 different models have been created so far and the list grows weekly.
Developed by MikroElektronika (mikroE), Click Boards™ connect to your microcontroller via the MikroBUS™. a powerful interface common to all models. MikroBUS™ is evolving into a standard within the embedded systems market and is being taken up by many other manufacturers.
Why Click Boards™?
They provide a standard way of adding evaluating new interface devices. MikroElektronika design and manufacture Click Boards™ for device manufacturers to offer a simple way of using their devices. They are compatible with all MikroE development boards, supporting a wide range of microcontroller types including ARM Cortex, AVR, PIC, PIC32, dsPIC, FT90x and 8051. MikroE models are also fully supported by MikroE complers and toolsets and example application code is created to enable you to start using your new Click Board™ straight away This can significantly reduce the learning curve normally associated with the introduction of new technology.
Incorporate MikroBUS™ into Your Own Design
There are many good reasons to want to offer extendability to your own board designs:
- To allow other interfaces to be added to your own system without having to redesign your hardware.
- Test the market for additional functionality at minimal outlay
Although mikroBUS™ is a trademark of mikroElektronika, they allow you to incorporate the bus layout into your design as long as the silkscreen is clearly labeled "mikroBUS™" and includes the mikroBUS™ logo.
Third Party Support
Many leading semiconductor manufacturers are now offering MikroBUS™ interfaces on their development platforms allowing our models to be used wherever you need them.
Stepper 2 Click Board
An improvement over its predecessor, the Stepper 2 Click Board from mikroE is another addition in the range of motor driver click boards. Complete with an A4988 microstepping motor driver, Stepper 2 click surpasses the original Stepper click with an output drive capability of up to 35V and ??2A.
Not just power, the new version is designed to offer user more control (precision). It can go down to 1/16th of a step to drive the motor. The board features three pairs of onboard screw terminals for secure connectivity. The first two (2B, 2A; 1A, 1B) are for connecting the motor while the third pair (VIN and GND) is for an external power supply (minimum 7V).
Stepper 2 click is intended to operate bipolar stepper motors in full-, half-, quarter-, eighth-, and sixteenth-step modes. The user can select between the different stepping modes (steps and micro steps) using a set of three (J1-J3) onboard jumpers. Stepper 2 click uses mikroBUS EN, RST, SL, ST and DIR pins to communicate with the target board microcontroller. It is designed to work with 3.3V power supply but is also compatible with 5V logic level.
Stepper Click Board
Introduce precision motor control to the user device with Stepper Click Board. This stepper motor driver board includes an A3967SLBT stepper motor driver that allows controlling bipolar step motors in full-, half-, quarter- and eighth-step modes. The maximum output drive capability is 30V and nearly ??500 mA.
It also features an integrated translator that supports easy implementation of the A3967SLBT microstepping driver. The package is offered with two sets of connectors: a B5B-XH-A connector and a pair of screw terminals. Both the types of connectors are delivered unsoldered with the package and can be used as a connecting option. The user can use the j3 jumper to select whether the power of the motor driver comes with the on-board or external power supply. STEPPER click supports either a 3.3V or 5V power supply, which can be selected through the zero-ohm J1 SMD jumper (3.3V is the default position). The user can also choose to use the motor driver
Temperature & Humidity Click Board
The MikroE Temp&Hum click is a fully calibrated temperature and humidity click board equipped with ST
Thermo 2 Click Board
The Thermo 2 Click Board is a measurement accessory board that includes DS1825, a programmable resolution 1-wire digital thermometer. The digital thermometer provides 9 to 12-bit centigrade temperature measurements and communicates over a 1-Wire bus. The DS1825 chip has a unique 64-bit serial code, which allows the user to connect multiple DS1825s to function on the same 1-Wire bus.
THERMO 2 click has a measuring range between
Thermo 3 Click Board
The mikroE Thermo 3 click is a temperature measurement board that incorporates an ultra-compact TMP102 IC from Texas Instruments. TMP102 chip works as a digital temperature sensor and is ideal for applications where high accuracy is required. It provides accuracy of ??0.5??C without requiring calibration. Offered in a tiny footprint of 1.6-mm ?
