Charger 2 Click Board

Charger 2 click is a LiPo/Li-Ion battery charger with the additional monitoring IC onboard. This Click board™ as a whole, offers unpreceded battery charging and monitoring solution for 3.7V LiPo/Li-Ion batteries, with the capacity measurement/gas gauge function, for up to 7000 mAh. It provides measurement data via the I2C interface and two signaling LEDs on the Click board™ itself. It features two dedicated ICs - one for charging the battery and one for monitoring its status. The charging function is performed by the STBC08, a standalone linear battery charger IC, while the monitoring of the critical battery parameters is done by the STC3100, a battery monitor IC with Coulomb counter/gas gauge.

Charger 5 Click Board

The Charger 5 Click Board is designed to charge Lithium-Ion and Lithium-Polymer batteries. Besides the overvoltage and undervoltage protection, reverse discharge and overtemperature protection, automatic recharge and end of charge safety timer, the click also introduces the fast charging feature to the line of click board charger products. Charger 5 click uses a programmable digital potentiometer for adjusting the fast charging constant current, which can be set from 100 mA to 950 mA, via the SPI interface.

Charger 8 Click Board

Charger 8 Click is an intelligent Li-Ion battery charger, system power manager, and a battery fuel gauge Click board™. As a system power distributor, it can supply up to 2A to a connected load. By utilizing an externally connected power supply, it can charge a single-cell Li-Po/Li-Ion battery. A dedicated power management IC with the optimized smart power control allows very efficient management of the available power. An additional battery fuel gauge IC with proprietary battery aging prediction algorithm and time-to-empty / time-to-full estimation, offers the complete diagnostic related to the battery charging process.

Charger 8 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.

Charger Click Board

The Charger click is an add-on board that comes integrated with two chips, one is a battery charger controller, and the other one is a battery charge monitor. The smaller chip MCP73831 is a miniature single-cell, advanced linear charge management controller that is commonly used is space-conscious and budgeted applications. This fully integrated Li-ion, Li-polymer charge management controller works with a programmable charge current from 15 mA to 500 mA. The larger chip DS2438 is a smart battery monitor, commonly used in portable computers, cell phones, consumer electronics, handheld instrumentation, etc. The board also features an on-board battery connector to facilitate connection. Charger click uses the unique 1-Wire interface, which requires only one port pin, for communication with the target microcontroller. The DS2438 has a unique silicon serial number, which allows several units to work on the same 1-Wire bus.

This permits multiple battery packs to be charged or used in the system simultaneously. It is designed to operate using a 5V power supply source.

Click Board Analyzer

Click Analyzer is a smart and powerful tool for analyzing pin states and voltage levels on the mikroBUS™. It is a versatile and powerful smart analyzing tool, which consists of two 8-bit PIC microcontrollers (MCUs), from Microchip. By utilizing some of the capabilities of the PIC18F26K42 MCU, such as the DMA, CLC, SMT, and NCO to name few, it is possible to achieve measurement and monitoring of the voltage states on all the pins of the stackable mikroBUS™ slot. Click Boarder 2 for FT90x

The Clicker 2 for FT90x is a fast and compact development kit powered by FT900, a 32-bit FT32 core microcontroller. Equipped with two MikroBUS sockets, this development board provides for click board connectivity to quickly build an innumerable gadgets with unique features and functionalities. The microcontroller can be programmed using an external MikroProg for FT90x programmer with MikroProg Suite for FT90x software.

The FT900Q chip comes preprogramed with a fast USB HID bootloader allowing the user to load code into it without demanding for an external programmer. The clicker 2 for FT90x is featured with two rows of pads (26 pins each) and a Li-Polymer battery connector. The board also has a reset button and a pair of buttons and LEDs along with an ON/OFF switch. A 12 MHz crystal oscillator provides a reference frequency output to the clock multiplier PLL. A 32.7 kHz crystal oscillator provides a clock for the internal RTCC. The clicker 2 for FT90x board has a LTC3586, a highly integrated power management and battery charger IC that also aids in battery charging over a USB connection.

The FT90x microcontrollers are equipped with an integrated USB module to implement USB communication functionality to the board.
