The Debug Store - The Electronic Engineers' Tool Store

Mikroelektronika d.o.o.

Mikroelektronika d.o.o.

MicroElektronika (mikroE) is a dynamic forward thinking embedded systems development tools company with its headquarters in Belgrade.

MikroElekronika (MikroE) has chosen the Debug Store in the UK as their dedicated distributor of development tools.

The company is unique by producing complete development tool suites; ranging from compilers, debuggers, development platforms and training materials for a wide range of microcontroller families including ARM Cortex, AVR, PIC, PIC32, dsPIC and FT90x architectures. Support is also directly available for a huge range of peripheral devices including displays, video cameras, temperature probes and multi-axis gyroscopes and accelerometers by the provision of low-cost Click Modules. Their objective is to make the transition for the developer to a new architecture as simple and efficient as possible. It achieves this by providing software library support and working examples for all supported interfaces and development systems.

MikroElektronika (mikroE) have been chosen as the development tool company of choice by many major semiconductor manufacturers as they appreciate the use of mikroE tools will speed up development of new projects. They are recognised third-party development partners of companies such as Atmel, Cypress, Microchip, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments and official consultants to others including NXP.

DC Motor 3 Click Board

The DC MOTOR 3 Click Board is a MikroBUS add-on board with a Toshiba TB6549FG full-bridge driver for direct current motors. The IC is capable of outputting currents of up to 3.5 A with 30V, making it suitable for high-power motors.

DC Motor 4 Click Board

The DC MOTOR 4 Click Board is capable of driving motors with a supply voltage from 4.5V to 36V. It carries the MAX14870 motor driver from Maxim Integrated.

The click is designed to run on either 3.3V or 5V power supply. DC MOTOR 4 click communicates with the target MCU over the following pins on the MikroBUS line: PWM, AN, CS, and INT.

DC MOTOR 5 Click Board

The DC MOTOR 5 Click Board carries the DRV8701 brushed DC motor gate driver from Texas Instruments.

The click is designed to run on an external power supply. It communicates with the target MCU over the following pins on the MikroBUS line: AN, RST, CS, PWM, and INT.

DC MOTOR 7 Click Board

DC MOTOR 7 click is a dual brushed DC motor driving Click board™, featuring the advanced PWM chopper-type integrated DC motor driver, labeled as TB67H400AFTG. This IC can drive two brushed DC motors independently, using a wide range of supply voltages, while delivering reasonably high current to the connected DC motors. This is possible due to the low resistance of the integrated H-Bridges. In addition to being able to drive two independent DC motors, it can be used in a so-called large mode to drive a single motor, utilizing both bridges in parallel. This effectively doubles the amount of current it can deliver to the DC motor.

The Click board™ is supported by the mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. The Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with mikroBUS™.

DC Motor 8 Click Board

The DC Motor 8 Click Board is a DC motor driver. It can drive simple DC motors with brushes, providing them with a significant amount of current and voltage up to 40V. The click has one control input, that uses the PWM signal from the host MCU. It uses the half-bridge topology to regulate the speed of the motor rotation, employs advanced dead-time circuitry that monitors the output stage, providing maximum switching efficiency and features an advanced technique to avoid shoot-through currents.

DC MOTOR Click Board

Add DC motor driver functionality to the design with the DC Motor Click Board. This compact add-on board is equipped with a DRV8833RTY H-Bridge motor driver and a 74HC4053 multiplexer that allows the user to run the motor with only one PWM line from the MikroBUS socket. The board also features two screw terminals (CN1, CN2) for secure connection. DC MOTOR click uses the SELECT1, SELECT2 and nSLEEP control lines, PWM input line and nFAULT feedback line to communicate with the target board microcontroller. It features two LEDs: a green power indicator, and a red one that signals an active nFault line (in case of a short circuit). DC MOTOR click supports either a 3.3V or 5V power supply, which can be provided either from the MikroBUS socket or externally through CN2 screw terminals (selectable via jumper). It is limited to a maximum of 0.9A driving current with 0.22?.

DHT22 2 Click Board

The DHT22 2 Click Board is used for measuring the environmental temperature and relative humidity. It uses the CM2322 sensor, with very accurate thermal and humidity measuring capabilities. It can use either 1-Wire or I2C protocol to communicate with the integrated circuit.

Attributes like the ultra-small size, low power consumption, signal transmission distance up to 20 meters, make this sensor the perfect choice for all kinds of applications that require measurement of the temperature and humidity.

DHT22 Click Board

The DHT22 Click Board from Mikroelektronika is one of the simplest temperature and relative humidity sensor click board that carries the AM2302 sensor module, also known as DHT22. Concealed inside a plastic mesh packaging, the AM2302 temperature/humidity sensor needs just a single wire to communicate with the target board microcontroller.

For added convenience, DHT22 click is provided with two jumpers (zero ohm resistors). While one of them allows the user to choose between the MikroBUS pin to use (either CS or INT pin, which are SDA1 and SDA2 lines), the other on-board jumper allows the choice between 3.3V and 5V power supplies. The sensor generates the temperature/humidity data in a 16-bit resolution. The generated decimal number is 10 times the actual measurement, i.e., 216 would be 21.6.

Diff Press Click Board

Diff pressure click carries NXP’s MPXV5010DP signal conditioned, temperature compensated and calibrated pressure sensor with two axial ports to accommodate industrial grade tubing. The click is designed to run either on 3.3V or 5V power supply. It communicates with the target microcontroller over SPI interface (CS, SCK, MISO).

DIGI POT 2 Click Board

The Digi Pot 2 Click Board™ is a mikroBUS™ add-on board with a single channel digital potentiometer TPL0501 with 256 wiper positions.

DIGI POT 3 Click Board

The DIGI POT 3 Click Board is a versatile and feature-rich digital potentiometer click with 1024 steps and an internal non-volatile memory (EEMEM), which can be used for storing the wiper position, but also for storing various user data. The user EEMEM area has 14 words, each with 16bit length. The Click board can be used with both unipolar and bipolar signals, selectable by onboard SMD jumpers. The wiper position can be increased or decreased linearly or by the logarithmic scale (6db/step) with a single command. A special scratch register allows direct programming of the wiper position. It can be stored to the non-volatile memory and on the power on, it is automatically restored. This means that the device restores its last position after the power on - just like its mechanical counterpart.
