ProxFusion Click Board

The ProxFusion Click Board™ is a multi-functional capacitive and Hall-effect sensor device. This Click Board™ can detect touch by using two on-board sensor pads, and it can sense a rotation angle of a magnetic field, parallel with the surface of the Click Board™. The intelligent on-board IC calculates all the parameters and streams the current angle value to the I2C bus directly, without the need for extra calculations.

The Proximity 10 Click Board™ is a versatile proximity detection device on a Click Board™. It can detect a foreign object distanced up to 200cm. The Click Board™ features a detection sensor IC that can trigger a programmable-event interrupts, which makes this Click Board™ capable of detecting even simple gesture movements. Proximity 2 Click Board

The Proximity 2 Click Board™ is an accessory board featured with a tiny footprint MAX44000 IC. The chip features an integrated ambient light sensor as well as proximity sensor. It comprises of a group of photodiodes that work by converting light into current. The internal circuitry then converts the resulting current into a digital value. Proximity 2 Click Board™ has an on-board ambient light sensor with a dynamic range of 0.03 to 65.535 lux. The IR proximity detector, with a sensing range of approximately 12cm, is matched with an integrated IR LED driver. Proximity 2 Click Board™ communicates to the target board microcontroller via MikroBUS I2C (SCL, SDA), and INT lines. All readings are available on an I2C communication bus. It also has a programmable interrupt pin. Proximity 2 Click Board™ supports a 3.3V power supply only.

The signal processing and conditioning section, three IR LED drivers, and the low noise analog front end with the PS and ALS photo-sensitive elements, are all integrated into the sensor IC, ensuring very accurate and reliable readings, while reducing the workload of the host MCU.

The proprietary Filtron technology provides near-human eye light spectrum sensitivity and top-class background light cancellation scheme for the ALS section, additionally reducing the workload of the MCU. This add-on board includes a standard 6-pin Mini-DIN PS/2 connector, a MikroBUS pinout, and a power indicator LED. PS/2 Click Board™ features a PS/2 port for connecting a keyboard or mouse to the target device. Although, superseded by USB, it is still used as an alternative to the USB connector.
