RF Meter Click Board™

The RF Meter Click Board™ comes designed to let the user measure as well as keep a check on the radio frequency levels. This radio frequency power measurement device contains a 12-bit MCP3201 ADC and AD8318 demodulating logarithmic detector. It covers a wide radio frequency range, which varies from 1 MHz to 8 GHz, with an accuracy of 1.0 dB over 60 dB range (approximately) below 6 GHz. The board has been provided with an external antenna by way of which, it catches the signal. This signal is then forwarded to the AD8318 logarithmic amplifier for processing. The voltage produced here gets fed to the fed into an MCP3201 ADC so that RF levels can be precisely determined. The antenna connector, which is being provided to the RF Meter Click Board™, is a standard SMA type and it is compatible with the GSM antennas.

Since, the AD8318 has a much wider frequency response; the user can put this board to use in a huge variety of applications by choosing the compatible antenna option.



RFiD Card 125KHz

RFiD Card 125KHz, based on the EM4100 Manchester & Bi-Phase encoding device.

The EM4100 (previously named H4100) is a CMOS integrated circuit for use in electronic Read Only RF Transponders. The circuit is powered by an external coil placed in an electromagnetic field, and gets its master clock from the same field via one of the coil terminals. By turning on and off the modulation current, the chip will send back the 64 bits of information contained in a factory pre-programmed memory array.

It is ideal for logistics automation, anti-counterfeiting and access control.

RFid Click Board™

The RFid Click Board™ from MikroE offers an easy and compact solution to introduce RFid functionality to the design. This add-on board includes CR95HF, an integrated transceiver IC for contactless applications, as well as a PCB trace antenna. The CR95HF 13.56 MHz contactless transceiver can operate in reader/writer modes. It contains a dedicated internal frame controller and analog front end (AFE) for RF communications. RFid Click Board™ communicates with the target board MCU through the MikroBUS UART (TX, RX), SPI (MISO, MOSI, SCK, CS) INT, RST, PWM and AN lines. The board supports a 3.3V power supply only. The power supply status is indicated by a green LED.

RFid Click Board™ supports ISO/IEC 14443 type A and B, ISO/IEC 15693 (single or double subcarrier) and ISO/IEC 18092 communication protocols. It also supports the detection, reading and writing of NFC Forum Type 1, 2, 3 and 4 tags. RFid Click Board™ can be used with 13.56 MHz RFid tags or identification cards. It is a perfect option for tracking and security systems that need RFID support.



RFid Reader Board

The RFid Reader Board has been designed for reading identification cards (RFid Cards) using radio waves. This accessory board comes equipped with a 125 KHz RF transmitter and receiver, and an EM4095 controller chip. While the included receiver/transmitter module with antenna and a 2x5 male connector allow the reader board to get connected with a microcontroller on the development system, EM409S is used for AM modulation/demodulation or as a driver for the antenna.

The RFid Reader Board works on the basis of amplitude modulation of radio waves and electromagnetic induction. Its primary functions are energizing, demodulation, and decoding. The board can be connected to microcontrollers or PC for encoding the data read from RFid tags. This signal is coded using standard Manchester coding. The additional board makes use of the provided antenna to receive data stored on the identification card (RFid Card). The reader is powered via a development system it is connected to. It comes fitted with a power supply LED indicator.

RGB Driver Click Board™

The RGB Driver Click Board™ is an RGB LED driver, capable of driving RGB LED stripes, LED fixtures and other RGB LED applications that demand an increased amount of current and voltage. Besides the NCP5623B IC, a triple output RGB LED driver IC which uses I2C interface for the communication with a microcontroller (MCU), this Click Board™ is equipped with three additional Power MOSFETs with very low RDSON value, which allow this IC to drive power demanding RGB elements, such as the LED strips, LED spotlights and similar RGB LED installations. The IC itself is capable of displaying a large palette of colours with 32 steps for each of the R, G, and B channels.
