The board has two DIP VO2630 dual-channel optocoupler modules that enable high speed (10 MBit/s) data transfer between its input and output with galvanic isolation. The DIP8 sockets allow for easily replacement of optocouplers. OPTO click board uses four mikroBUS lines (INT, CS, RST, AN) to communicate with the target board microcontroller. OSD click is an add-on display board intended to add monochrome on-screen display (OSD) generator to the user design. The board employs a combination of a MAX7456 single-channel monochrome OSD generator module, integrated EEPROM memory as well as two RCA sockets. It is preloaded with 256 user-programmable characters or pictographs in NTSC and PAL standards. MAX7456 module is ideally-suited for creating on-screen menus, or place the company logo in the streaming video. It has a 12x18 pixel character size and can easily display information in up to 16 lines of 30 characters each.
