The Relay 2 Click Board™ from MikroE is an add-on board designed for designs where the user wants to keep the microcontroller in an on and off relationship with two different devices at the same time, like lights, motors, and other similar devices.

The board comprises of two LCA717 OptoMOS solid state relays that provides fast, silent and bounce-free switching. It also has two screw terminals for secure connection. With a blocking voltage of 30V, both the relays have a high load current of 2A and very low maximum on-resistance of 0.15'.

IC/Module: LCA717 Single-Pole OptoMOS Relay

LCA717 is a 30V single-pole, normally open solid state relay that uses optically coupled MOSFET technology to provide 3750Vrms of input to output isolation. It has an ultra-low on-resistance for high-current operation. Its optically coupled outputs are controlled by a highly efficient infrared LED.

Superior Reliability

The LCA717 offers high reliability associated with semiconductor devices, and can be used to replace mechanical relays. Because it has no moving parts, the chip offers faster, bounce-free switching in a more compact surface mount or thru-hole package.
