Rotary R Click Board
Rotary click carries a 15-pulse incremental rotary encoder with detents, surrounded by a ring of 16 red LEDs. It??s a perfect solution for adding a precision input knob to your design.

IC/module: 15-Pulse Incremental Rotary Encoder
Rotary R click features a rotary encoder that can be spun round continuously to make a rotation into 15 discrete incremental steps. Featuring 30 detents, this incremental rotary encoder outputs A and B signals that are out of phase to each other.
Ring of 16 Red LEDs
The rotary encoder is encircled by a ring featuring 16 LEDs in fiery red colour. The LED ring provides visual feedback to the user and controlled through SPI lines. .
Communication to MCU through SPI Interface
Rotary R click communicates with the target board microcontroller via mikroBUS SPI lines (CS, SCK, MISO, MOSI), and three additional lines to deliver the Encoder info: ENCB OUT, ENCA OUT and SW (instead of the typical AN, RST and INT pins, respectively). .
Additional LED Colours AvailableWith the red LED version, Rotary R click, MikroElektronika has launched its third colour in the line of its flashy click boards. The two previous click boards in the same family include two colours: green (Rotary G) and blue (Rotary B).
