RTC 5 Click Board
The RTC5 click carries MCP79510, a real-time clock/calendar with an SPI interface (mikroBUS MISO, MOSI, SCK and CS pins); along with a programmable interrupt for system output.

Equipped with advanced functionality, MCP79510 has digital trimming compensation for added accuracy, a timestamp to log power failures, a battery switchover designed for backup power, and three types of memory. It operates in a wide voltage and temperature range with low power consumption.
For storing data, RTC5 click comes with a 64-byte battery-backed SRAM and 1 Kbit of onboard serial EEPROM memory. Along with them, a 128-bit protected space is available for a unique ID, which is available blank or pre-programmed with a MAC address.
Reliable: Even on a Large Time Scale
RTC5 click is equally reliable on a large time scale. The chip automatically adjusts for months with less than 31 days, including corrections for leap years. The clock/calendar works in either 24-hour or 12-hour format.
