IC/module: A3967SLBT Microstepping Motor Driver
A3967SLBT is a bipolar stepper motor driver that drives bipolar step motors in full-, half-, quarter-, and eighth-step modes with output drive capability of 30V and ±500 mA. It includes a fixed off-time current regulator that can be operated in slow, fast, or mixed current-decay modes. It allows for reduced motor noise, enhanced step accuracy, and reduced power consumption.
The translator allows for simple implementation of the stepper motor driver. Simply inputting one pulse on the STEP input, the motor drives one step (full, half, quarter, or eighth depending on two logic inputs). The user would not require phase sequence tables, high frequency control lines, or complex program interfaces for operating the driver.
Two Sets of Connectors
STEPPER click features two, unsoldered, sets of connectors to connect the motor. One is a B5B-XH-A connector, which allows the user to easily plug in or unplug a compatible stepper motor. The other set includes two screw terminals as an alternative connecting option.
